"Be Ready for ICE: Virtual Community Defense Training" (ZOOM) (Copy)
The purpose of this training is to teach what our legal rights are during interactions with law enforcement, how to ID ICE, and how to respond when you see an ICE raid happening. Our goals are to support our community members who are being targeted, document, and reduce detentions. These steps are based off historical successes, tactics currently being used in targeted cities, and actions our local immigration organizations are taking.

2026 Tom Foley Legacy Dinner
The Spokane County Democrats' Annual Tom Foley Legacy Dinner is a night of inspiration, community, and connection.
Tom Foley was a giant in American politics and a proud son of Spokane, whose vision for America was one of fairness, opportunity, and a democracy that worked for all.
As Spokane County Democrats, we strive to carry that legacy forward. This evening is a chance to celebrate our progress, connect with community leaders, and hear from inspiring speakers ready to guide us through these critical times.

This online session covers organizing defense groups, establishing rapid response teams, and safety protocols to protect community members from ICE. It is public, with encrypted registration for safety.

At these events, you'll be at our booth, working alongside another volunteer. Your task: distribute giveaways, share candidate materials, and answer queries.
