Salmon Feed

Celebration 2026!

This is one of our favorite traditions and a chance to come together as a community, enjoy a wonderful salmon dinner, hear from candidates and guest speakers, and help build momentum for the work ahead.

This event honors the traditions of the First Peoples of our region and the important role salmon has played for generations as a symbol of stewardship, resilience, and coming together. Those values continue to inspire us today as we work to build a stronger, more inclusive future for Spokane County.

We thank the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation for their generous donation of Fresh Salmon for the 2026 Salmon Feed.

Guests will enjoy delicious salmon while spending an evening with fellow Democrats, community leaders, volunteers, and endorsed candidates. It’s a chance to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and build momentum for the important work ahead in 2026.

SPEAKERS: We are honored to welcome two distinguished members of the Washington State Supreme Court: Chief Justice Debra Stephens and Justice Theodore “Theo” Angelis.

This year’s Supreme Court elections carry tremendous importance. The decisions made by our state’s highest court affect voting rights, civil rights, public safety, reproductive freedom, access to justice, and the balance of power in our state. At a time when courts and democratic institutions face growing pressure, it is essential that we understand what is at stake and the threats we may face. Having two Supreme Court justices travel to Spokane to share their perspectives with us is an exceptional honor and a rare opportunity.

Your participation directly supports the Spokane County Democrats' efforts to elect Democrats up and down the ballot, support progressive initiatives, train and empower Precinct Committee Officers, and help ensure confidence in our elections through election observation programs. Together, we are building the foundation for Democratic success throughout Eastern Washington.
