At this month's meeting of the Spokane County Executive Board, we unanimously endorsed Clyde Cordero for the 5th Congressional District of Washington. Mr. Cordero is a combat veteran and small business consultant who is stepping forward from an earnest desire to serve his country and the people of Eastern Washington.

This will be an important race as we take on the establishment candidate, Cathy McMorris Rogers, who has worked her way up the Republican leadership ladder and is now serving her fourth term in Congress. "I believe that the people of Eastern Washington deserve an honest dialogue about issues affecting us and a choice in the upcoming elections," said Mr. Cordero.
