This Saturday October 24th, the nations of the world joined together for to call for emergency action on "The International Day of Climate Action"

At over 5200 events around the world, people in 181 countries came together for the most widespread day of environmental action in the planet's history calling for strong action and bold leadership on the climate crisis.

A Spokane environmental flash mob gathered in Riverfront at the Park Blue Steel Bridge on Saturday, thanks to more than a year of organizing by our friends at 350.org and others.

Organized by the 350.org campaign, this year's annual celebration will call for a fair climate treaty when world leaders gather in Copenhagen in December.

Three hundred fifty parts per million is considered to be the safe upper limit for carbon dioxide in earth's atmosphere.
